Cable drought

Recently most of the basic cable chanells have been having a drought of quality programing. So what do the do, they go to the comidies of the 80's to fill their air time. In the past two weeks I have watched all the Meatballs flix, Caddyshack, and some other Rodney dangerfield flims, and "Girls just want to have fun" with a pre- everything Sarah Jessice parker, helen Hunt and even (gasp) Shannon Doherty. Maybe there was something about those films that stood the test of time. Who am I kidding, they are just funnier than the garbage on the screen today. Do you find this valuable?
